Fern: Fern started singing at the tender age of 10 years, where he sung in various choirs, ranging from the all different choirs in South Africa. Fern has a lot of energy on…and off stage, played 100’s of shows in the past. What a great performer. With his melodic vocal technique, he will touch your soul and heart. “Singing in this band, is about loving and feeling what I do.”
Nick: Feeling the beat and putting extra low melodic bass to it, is what gives the songs a different vibe. Nick has been in the music industry for a long time. A dedicated and driven person when it comes to music. His bass lines will blow your mind. A very quite person off stage, but when he is performing that is when the professionalism comes in “Living is the best revenge”
Jakes: Inspired by his Dad (now in heaven) started music when his dad past away. A real dedicated musician, talented, focused, Energetic on stage plus a great live performance. Jakes has been in the music industry for a while. Jakes opened for international acts. Played all major festivals like Woodstock, splashy fen etc. “I do music for my dad and Mom and just because I love it with the talent that GOD gave me”
Jay: A drummer with heart and soul. Extraordinary beats coming from Jay. The audience’s enjoys his crucial beats and his life performance. Jay is an energetic drummer behind his set. Jay expresses himself by giving an awesome live performance with real tight drum beats. “Its not just about being a technical drummer, it’s about performing your songs with feeling”
Biography
Only Forever — formed in July 2006 comprising of musicians from a long list of previous projects decided to get together to live out their passion for music and finally write the music they wanted to write. Not taking influence from the local music scene, Only Forever is not prepared to be limited by what the commercial scene has to offer.
The music is not only hard and heavy – it’s a perfect balance between melody and distortion. Lyrically focusing on issues that, audiences can relate to. Only Forever prides itself on originality and energetic live shows.
